• Distilled Water: Pure, impurity-free base that safely dissolves magnesium chloride without introducing minerals or contaminants that could affect product stability or skin.
• Grass-Fed Tallow: Deeply moisturizing and nutrient-rich fat that closely resembles human skin sebum. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K; provides long-lasting hydration, supports skin barrier repair, and is excellent for dry, sensitive, or mature skin.
• Shea Butter: Ultra-nourishing and emollient. High in fatty acids and vitamins A & E; deeply moisturizes, softens rough skin, reduces inflammation, promotes healing, and helps improve skin elasticity.
• Jojoba Oil: Lightweight, non-greasy oil that mimics skin’s natural sebum. Excellent moisturizer and balancer; absorbs quickly, won’t clog pores, rich in antioxidants, and helps soothe irritated or inflamed skin.
• Emulsifying Wax NF: Natural plant-derived emulsifier that binds oil and water phases together. Creates a smooth, stable cream or lotion texture without separation, making the product pleasant and effective to apply.
• Beeswax: Natural protective barrier and thickener. Locks in moisture, has mild antibacterial properties, soothes and protects sensitive skin, and adds a luxurious feel while helping the balm adhere better.
• Stearic Acid: Natural fatty acid (often from vegetable sources) that acts as a thickener and emulsifier. Improves texture and stability, creates a creamy consistency, and helps the product feel rich without being heavy.
• Germall Plus (Natural Preservative): Broad-spectrum preservative that safely extends shelf life. Prevents bacterial, mold, and yeast growth in water-based formulations while remaining gentle on skin.
• Vitamin E Oil: Powerful antioxidant. Helps extend shelf life by preventing oils from going rancid, supports skin healing, reduces scarring, deeply moisturizes, and protects against environmental damage.

Why dissolve magnesium chloride in distilled water instead of infusing it directly into tallow:

Magnesium chloride is a water-soluble mineral salt, so it does not dissolve well (or at all) in oils or fats like grass-fed tallow. Adding it straight into the tallow would leave gritty, undissolved particles in your balm, making the texture unpleasant and greatly reducing how much magnesium your skin can actually absorb. By first dissolving it in distilled water, you create a true aqueous solution that allows the magnesium ions to become fully bioavailable. This water-based solution can then be properly emulsified into the oils, resulting in a smooth, effective product where the magnesium can penetrate the skin much more efficiently for better muscle relaxation and wellness benefits.
